Hours of work:             39 hours per week

Overview:

Candidates with a suitable Engineering or Science degree are invited to apply for a position within a multi-disciplinary manufacturing facility, focusing on manufacturing IT system development, data management and data analysis. Candidates should demonstrate imagination, innovation, creativity and have a genuine love of new technologies. A desire for further technical and professional advancement would be considered favorably. The post will involve working within an Engineering team in a challenging and varied environment working on cutting edge technologies. The opportunity for international travel is also available.

 

Specific Responsibilities

  • Maintenance and integration of existing IT system
  • Contribute to development of IT strategy for the long term.
  • Work closely with manufacturing departments to identify opportunities.
  • Create, test and optimize software for the collection, analysis and communication of data.

  • SQL / NoSQL Databases
  • REST / JSON
  • Linux
  • C, C++, LUA, JavaScript, PHP
  • Web Design
  • OPC-UA
  • GIT, SVN or similar
  • Small Board Computers (Arduino, Raspberry PI etc)
  • Experience working in an Agile Software development environment. (Desirable)
  • Ability to support operations flexibly where required. (Desirable)
