Community Support

The Sony UK Technology Centre is a socially aware business that seeks to minimise its impact on the environment, supports its local community through charity work and sponsorship, and has the welfare of its staff at the heart of its operation.

Why do we support Children's Ward, Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend?

  • because of their fantastic work for the children and their families
Part of our commitment to the community is to inspire the next generation. Thus, our CSR team recognises that supporting young people and their well being is very important. The fantastic work which the team at the Children's Ward, Princess of Wales Hospital in Bridgend does every day, both for the children and their families, really resonates with our own commitment. This is why we have supported the ward for the last 3 years and continue to support it today.
  • because it’s a local cause
Many people here at SONY UK TEC will know a family member or a friend who has been under the care of the Children’s Ward. Therefore all of our team players are very passionate and committed to support the ward in their great work.

Other charitable causes

In 2016 we were also able to support many other charities and other worthwhile causes, in addition to the Princess of Wales Hospital.
