Employees from Sony UK Technology Centre Limited (UK TEC) proudly joined thousands of participants at this year’s Pride Cymru Parade in Cardiff, standing in solidarity with the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that UK TEC has taken part in the vibrant celebration, with representation growing year on year. A mix of LGBTQ+ employees and allies walked together under the Sony Pride banner, wearing Sony Pride t-shirts, waving flags, and bringing unmistakable energy to the streets of Cardiff.
Participation in Pride Cymru reflects Sony’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)—a commitment that extends far beyond a single event. At Sony, DE&I is embedded into the company culture, championing individuality and ensuring every team member feels seen, heard, and valued.
This year’s event also marked a special milestone as the first Pride Parade since the formation of UK TEC’s Pride Committee. The group, established to support LGBTQ+ inclusion throughout the year, is already working on new initiatives following feedback from the parade.
