Role Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the successful candidate to join a fast-paced operations Corporate Strategy Group on a temporary basis as a Finance Manager. The successful candidate must be able to motivate and manage a team whilst also having a ‘hands-on’ approach with various accounting tasks.

This varied role will include, but not be limited to, balance sheet management, internal reporting and people management. In addition, the ideal candidate will have an interest and/or experience in process development and innovation.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Ability to collaborate with other teams within the organisation.
• Balance Sheet Account Management
• Finance reporting and monthly meetings
• Supporting and managing a team
• Month end reporting and data entry
• Supporting Statutory Accounts Preparation
• Completion of Annual Budgets
• Process analysis and improvements

Person Qualities:

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced Finance Team
• Full/Part Accounting Qualification
• Previous experience managing a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the confidence to do so.
• Advanced Excel skills
• Highly motivated, with the ability to motivate others.
• Excellent organize, time-management and prioritising skills.
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Demonstrate a flexible approach
• Trustworthy and reliable

Desirable criteria:

• Prior experience of working within an Electronics or Mechanical Manufacturing/design environment
• Previous experience working with Oracle system
• Previous experience with standard costing
